Our Values

Devotion To God

The primary reason for this ministry’s existence and the sole motive we have in the establishment of KWC is to bring glory to God. We aim to exalt the Father, amplify the wonderful name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and to be instruments of change by His Holy Spirit.

Spiritual Balance

We strongly desire the free movement of the Holy Spirit, where the Lord has the liberty to manifest Himself through the charismatic gifts recorded in 1 Corinthians 12, however, Scripture also teaches that these experiences must be guided by the biblical principle of orderly conduct (1 Corinthians 14:40). God is not the author of confusion and will not operate in way that is contrary to the fruit of His Spirit (Galatians 5:2 2, 23). The proper combination of both Spiritual experience and sound biblical application leads to having a healthy balance both corporately as the body of Christ as well as individually as a child of God.

Excellence

Since everything we do in this ministry is for the glory of God, the highest standard of performance and professionalism must be maintained. The Lord deserves no less than one hundred percent our effort, therefore, any function we undertake in this ministry is to be accomplished to the best of our ability. We optimize our abilities, not to elevate ourselves, nor any other person or organization, but to simply glorify God. (Colossians 3:2 3).

Integrity

One of the ways we honor the Lord is to ensure that our actions are consistent with the confession of our faith. We are called to be authentic in our walk with Christ. The Scriptures encourages us to be honest with God, ourselves and with each other, thereby exercising godly character in our daily lives. By being truthful, transparent, and honest, we develop, maintain and strengthen the trust of others. Honesty is one of the ethical pillars on which a healthy reputation is built, and the moral adhesive that keeps relationships strong. It is indeed, the best policy.

Respect

Scripture teaches us to honor each other above ourselves (Romans 12:10). Being created in the image of God, all persons are made equal and thus deserving of proper respect. Regardless of our differences, whether it be personality, culture, ethnicity, personal opinion/belief, academic background or life experience, each person is deeply valued and treated with the same level of dignity, courtesy and understanding.

Accountability

Although we are ultimately accountable to God for every word, thought, and action, Scripture teaches that we are to be held Liable to L those whom the Lord has placed over us in higher positions of leadership. KWC serves as a ministry of the Church of God; a Pentecostal denomination head-quartered in Cleveland, Tennessee. As such, we adhere to the doctrine, bylaws, faith declaration and polity of the denomination. As the leadership of KWC is accountable to our denominational leaders, we are equally answerable to those whom we serve in our local congregation setting.

Teamwork

Regardless of one’s role in the ministr3, each individual’s contribution plays a valuable part in helping KWC to successfully accomplish its mission. Although the Lord empowers us by His Spirit to fulfill the Great Commission, no single individual was ever called upon to undertake this ambitious task of the kingdom alone. God designed the Church in a way so that it would reach its full potential when every member’s unique gifts and talents are utilized. Being a team not only enables us to become more efficient and productive, it helps us to appreciate each other; both for the God-given abilities we bring with us and, more importantly, for being who we are as individuals.
