Authentic worship should never be limited to a 20-30 minute activity on Sunday morning during service, or how emotional you feel about the songs you sing to God; it is a lifestyle of continually and intentionally acknowledging God in everything you do. You are mindful of Him everyday, everywhere in every activity. Whether you are working in your job, working out at the gym, studiously engaging academia or shopping for groceries, whatever you do is an act of worship. Others will see the change in your life; that it is not at all superficial, but real, and will desire what you have. Before you know it, as you have been impacted by the Spirit-empowered lives of others, your life is also being used by God to impact those around you.
