Stewardship

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. The sacred task of wisely managing the earth’s resources was the mandate God gave to Adam and Eve, which marks it as the earliest role of responsibility that was ever delegated to humanity. Everything we own and possess was made possible by the strength, ingenuity and ability God has given us. We are but stewards or managers of what God has entrusted to our care. Though God has blessed us with these resources for our enjoyment, they are primarily to be used to serve God and bless others.
