God – The Trinity
Not three gods, nor one person with three personalities or modes, but the One reigning sovereign, supreme Being, the Creator of all things, existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit, who together form the Godhead. Though each member of the Godhead share the same divine essence and are equal in the infinity of their power and knowledge, they differ in their respective roles and function.

The Father
The First Person of the Godhead, the Author of life and divine source of all that is good. He is the righteous and merciful judge of all the earth; the One who designed and established the sacred covenants between Himself and the righteous persons whom He called to be a blessing to others.

The Son – Jesus Christ
The Second Person of the Godhead, the Eternal Word through which all of creation came into existence, who entered our world through the miraculous virgin birth. He is the Saviour of all humanity who came to be a living example to humankind; the personal revelation of God and a temporal expression of the Father’s eternal love. His death and resurrection on the third day provided the means for fallen humanity to have a restored relationship with God.

The Holy Spirit
The Third Person of the Trinity who, in complete harmony with the Father and the Son, perfectly executes the will of both. He is referred to as the Helper and Comforter in the Scriptures by the Lord Jesus Himself. The One who initiated and sustained for centuries the international body of believers known as the Church. Also known as the Spirit of Christ He has been continuing the work of the Son. He is actively engaged in this world, convicting humanity of their sin to reconcile them to God and empowering believers to fulfill their divine mandate as being witnesses of Christ.
