Sin

Literally means “missing the mark”, this fallen condition has marred the image of God in all of humanity and has negatively impacted every aspect of the human person. This fallen state has not only impacted humanity but the rest of the world, through the first man, Adam. The harmful/evil actions we see demonstrated throughout the world are mainly radical side-effects of this fallen nature. It separates us from God and keeps us alienated from Him.
